LOC, Google Digitize Congressional Hearings
The Law Library of Congress and Google have teamed up in a collaborative project to digitize 75,000 volumes of printed Congressional Hearings. Eventually, the entire collection will be converted into PDF format. So far, the project has compiled test collections of selected hearings having to do with three topics: the U.S. census, freedom of information and privacy, and immigration.[Hat tip to The Scout Report.]
